A site licence allows you to have the same modules and version registered on another single user computer.
Your product is allowed a single registration on a server or workstation which also registers the other workstations in a multi-user environment. A site licence allows you to have the same modules and version registered on another single user computer. This has a few advantages. It allows you to have a backup computer should something happen to the existing network/computers, some people have this at their home or a backup computer in the office. It also allows backups to be restored onto the 2nd registered computer (Site Licence), if for example, some bookkeeping work needs to be done remotely and then backed up and restored to the main system (main system would not be able to use as changes would be lost). Finally, having a site licence environment setup also allows you to trial and test new versions before deploying to the live server environment. The newer version can only be given a temporary registration because no official serial numbers would have been issued by Sage.
